How to Drink More Water

Water is essential for all cells in the body to function properly.

Water helps flush toxins from the body, promotes good kidney function, keeps your joints and muscles lubricated, supports healthier and younger-looking skin, and helps regulate body temperature.

Here are 3 simple ways to start drinking more water on a daily basis.

1. Keep a reusable water bottle

Stay hydrated and avoid dehydration by keeping a reusable water bottle with you.

If you keep a water bottle with you throughout the day, you can drink more water.

When you have a reusable water bottle, you can easily drink water in any place, whether you’re running errands, traveling, or at home, work, or school.

If you have a water bottle handy, it can help you reminder yourself to drink more water.

If you see the bottle on your desk or table, you will constantly be reminded to drink more water.

2. Flavor your water

If you don't like the taste of water, you can find many flavors to help you drink more.

It is a good idea to use a cheap fruit-infuser water bottle as an alternative to drinking water from a tap.

Popular fruit combinations to use in an infuser bottle are cucumber-lime, lemon, and strawberry-kiwi.

Although, you can use any combination of fruits that you like.

You can purchase water enhancers to add to your water, but be aware that many of these products may contain sugar, artificial sweeteners, or other additives that may harm your health.

3. Invest in a filter

Depending on your location and access to water, it may be more important to have filtered water than to purchase bottled water.

Even if the water in your area is not perfect, it can still taste better than the water coming out of the tap or water fountain.

I find that I am more likely to use a system when I invest in it, whether that investment is in money, effort, or both.

It's important to choose the right filtration device for your kitchen sink and for your portable bottle.
